Please note: Under no circumstances will we provide anyone with completion paperwork until all course and test fees are paid in full.

I thought you could teach my kid to drive in 6 hours, but he still can’t drive! What’s the problem? The 6 hours we spend with the student is merely enough to touch on most aspects of driving but is not enough to go in depth or spend a great deal of time on any single type of driving or situation. We encourage parents to allow the teen driver as much time behind the wheel as possible. As a reminder, the 50-hour practice log is a requirement for all new drivers. If the student needs more instruction from us, we would be happy to schedule additional hours of instruction that we can fit to the student’s needs at $100 per hour.
-
Do you do instruction at night? Sometimes it happens that way, especially in the evenings during winter months, but not necessarily. However, we can set an hour or two of it up during dark hours if you wish.
-
As I parent, I am afraid to drive with my child. What do you suggest? Start out in an empty lot with the very basics for as long as necessary until you are comfortable moving to roads. Start in areas that are less busy and work your way to busier areas. Remember, some students catch on more quickly than others. It’s possible that you may spend a lot of time before seeing any real progress. If it’s better for you, let us do some instruction with the student before you try it as parents. Let us give you particular feedback on how the student did so you know what to expect.
-
My child almost had a wreck and now is so discouraged that he won’t drive anymore. What should I do? Let the student know that making mistakes is an important part of learning. The reason they are required to practice with us first is because this is expected to happen.
-
Will you pick up and drop off my student? Yes, if the student lives within city limits or 15 minutes from our office. However, if the student lives in a remote area, we reserve the right to ask that the student meet us halfway or at an agreed upon location. We work out the schedule and meeting locations on an individual basis.
-
How should the student study for the knowledge test? We have BMV Driver’s Manuals available in our office. The manuals are also available at the BMV or online at www.in.gov/bmv. They would click on driver education to find the link to download the manual. Also, completing at least a portion of the online course is helpful before attempting the test.
-
Can we take the driving test with All Pro or do we have to go to the BMV to take the test? So long as the student completes 100% of the online course, has completed all drives with our instructor (a total of 6 hours) within the 180 days of scheduling their first drive, are age eligible (16 years and 3 months) and receives a score of 80% or higher in both the online classroom and driving portions of our course, he/she may take the “waiver skills test” with us instead of taking the test at the BMV for an additional fee of $50. The student may take the test with us as soon as the student is age eligible (16 years and 3 months) plus the entire course is complete, but must still have held their permit for at least 180 days & complete 50-hour practice log before going to the BMV to be licensed.
